AW25 EDITORIAL "ALDERGROVE"

This season we wanted to photograph the fall collections on our friend and farmer, Mike Fraser, and his magnetic children Ursula (10) and Gertie (7). Together with his partner Glynis they run Aldergrove farm in Grey County, Ontario. Aldergrove is synonymous with the intense flavour of their vegetables and herbs and their vivid cut flowers - one that attracts massive line ups at farmer's markets each week. If you attended our ratatouille summer event you will have tasted the fruits of their labour. We set our calendars and menus to their produce. We are, simply put, obsessed.
On a misty November day - at the fleeting, golden moment between the end of harvest and the beginning of winter - Inez and Lee captured the family at their home in Mount Forest wearing this season's bounty.
