Ivory wild silk shantung maxi bloomers with gathered hem. Elastic ankle cuff creates a mutton leg ruffle. Snap closure and long bow to adjust the waist can be worn at the front or the back.

Since 2008, Irene Clementine Ortega has been actively involved in artistic creation, fashion design, and historical textile research. After moving to Berlin in 2011, she specialized in dating antique fabrics and identifying pre-industrial garments. Learning experiences in Italy provided direct contact with high fashion and private wardrobe archives. Now based in Rome, Clementine's art introduces timeless characters through clothing, emphasizing visual elements like colours, textures, and shapes. Advocating expressive gestures, her unique pieces grant wearers transformative power to challenge roles and escape societal rigidity. Experimenting freely, she uses pure pigments for dyes, hand sewing, and repurposing antique garments. Collaborating with professionals in fashion, theatre, and textile artistry, she benefits from Italian suppliers' expertise in classic tailoring.

All objects, jewelry, underpinnings, printed matter and swimwear are final sale. Sale items and special orders are final sale. Promotional sale purchases (items purchased with a welcome code or a discount code) are available for exchange or store credit only.
We will exchange or refund all regular-priced clothing items if posted by trackable mail or courier within 4 days of receipt. The item must arrive to the shop within 14 days of posting. For refunds, you will be refunded the cost of the returned items at the time of purchase minus a return fee of $10.
