Pushing away from animal leather and into a more ethical and sustainable alternative, this garment is made up of shiringa — a plant based latex from the Hevea brasiliensis tree in the Peruvian Amazon. A process dating back to the 19th century where they apply warm, waterproof, and elastic material over a natural cotton cloth and smoke it until completely dry, achieving a clean look and comfortable feel equal to that of traditional animal leather. Mozh mozh is a brand created and designed by Mozhdeh Matin in Lima, Peru. Mozh Mozh designs seek to merge traditional Peruvian textiles and techniques with luxury design and details. Mozh Mozh fashions their pieces from high quality materials such as locally farmed alpaca wool and hand spun cotton. Much of their work is in collaboration with native artisans, farmers, and caretakers of the earth.

We will exchange or refund all regular-priced clothing items if posted by trackable mail or courier within 4 days of receipt. The item must arrive to the shop within 14 days of posting. For refunds, you will be refunded the cost of the returned items at the time of purchase minus a return fee of $10.
