Since 2011, designers Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh have combined traditional techniques such as batik, hand weaving, block printing, hand painting and screen printing, ikat, botanical dyeing, and wood carving with contemporary textiles like rayon and silk to realize their vision of unique, hybrid designs. Based in Ghana, Osei-duro’s practices their values of social responsibility and environmental and economic sustainability through collaboration with designers, artisans, and fine artists.
