EURYDICE DRESS IN WHITE/SOLEIL
- Description
Full length dress with short sleeves and adjustable cross body tie / slash. Grecian gathering at the shoulder. Features a side slit at the hem and a hook and eye closure at the back.
The material for the soleil dress is made from handloomed cotton traditional to the Volta region of Ghana. Woven in 3" strips and joined by master weaver Bob Dennis Ahiagble for 100% SILK. Since 2003, Bob has been recognized by UNESCO as one of the only living master Ewe kente weavers, championing kente as an intangible heritage product.

100% Silk was founded in 2016 by Lee Dekel as a way to showcase specialized forms of folk craft in textile. Each collection begins an investigation into a particular art form. Lee collaborates with craftspeople ranging from seventh generation ikat dyers in Uzbekistan, to flag makers in Ghana trained in the art of storytelling through appliqué. Every material used in her collections has been designed and made from scratch, guided by the technique and informed by the environment from which they were born.

All objects, jewelry, underpinnings, printed matter and swimwear are final sale. Sale items and special orders are final sale. Promotional sale purchases (items purchased with a welcome code or a discount code) are available for exchange or store credit only.
We will exchange or refund all regular-priced clothing items if posted by trackable mail or courier within 4 days of receipt. The item must arrive to the shop within 14 days of posting. For refunds, you will be refunded the cost of the returned items at the time of purchase minus a return fee of $10.
