Collection: Alia Sharshenbeva
In Kyrgyzstan, wool is life. For centuries, nomadic families have relied on felted textiles — blankets, yurt panels, shawls — to survive the region’s long, harsh winters. Alia Sharshenbeva combines her family’s traditional Kyrgyz felted motifs with featherweight silk organza to create an entirely new, season-less material. All Sharshenbeva pieces are stitched together by hand, with hand spun wool thread.
